Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the Clear Lake Flying Club. Volunteers make a huge difference in the quality and effectiveness of the services that we can provide to our community. Currently we are particularly in need of volunteers to help with the Clear Lake Flying Club at its next event, the 2025 Clear Lake Splash In, which takes place from April 24 through April 27, 2025. Among the activities planned for the 2025 Clear Lake Splash In are a EAA Young Eagles Rally, a seaplane skill competition, seminars regarding flying seaplanes and youth aviation education and several dinners and other activities to enjoy Lake County. We are particularly in need of volunteers who help with the following: Guest registration: Staffing the guest registration desk for the EAA Young Eagles Rally, for the pilots attending the Splash In and for conference attendees. Responsibilities include checking in attendees and providing them with their name tag, wrist bands and conference program, answering questions about the conference and selling raffle tickets. Conference photography and videography: Photography of the seminars and a video of each presentation. Presentation Assistant: Helping each presenter at the conference be ready to go with his or her presentation as soon as the previous presenter is finished. Presentation Timer: Keeping the presentations on the conference program timetable, including providing time remaining cues to the presenter. Seminar Debriefing: Distributing and collecing conference review forms. To apply to be a volunteer, please contact us. Thanks!
